Pipeline & utility field-survey platform.
SurveyArk™ covers three project types: CP surveys, overline surveys and line locates. Readings are captured in the field, held as a project, and published as a report.
Three stages of the work.
A survey is captured on site, managed as a project, and published as a report. The same record carries through all three.
Data capture
Readings are recorded on site and stored on the device. They sync when a connection is available.
Project management
A project holds its sites, assets and readings. Status is tracked across sites and clients.
Reporting
Reports are produced from the recorded data. Each one traces back to the readings it used.
Three project types.
Each type has its own capture flow, instruments and deliverable.
CP Survey
Cathodic protection compliance programs, run against test points. Routine, annual and special testing across sites. Each reading is recorded against the test point it was taken at, with the reference it was measured to. The project tracks what has been completed and what is still outstanding across the whole site list.
Overline Survey
Walked along the pipe. Coating condition, integrity and position:
- CIS / CIPS (close interval survey)
- DCVG (DC voltage gradient)
- ACVG (AC voltage gradient)
- ACCA (AC current attenuation)
- DOC (depth of cover)
- GPS centreline
Line Locate
Utility locates and marking. Runs are captured on site with the locator, then assembled into the site record. Sketches and photos attach to the job as it is worked. The job carries from the ticket through to the deliverable sheet and the archived package, searchable afterwards.
What gets recorded.
Each reading stores how it was taken, what it was referenced to, and what it was attached to.
The data model follows field practice rather than a generic form.
Context with the reading
A reading carries its reference, its subject and the conditions it was taken under.
One asset record
Structures, test points and devices are held in one model. History stays with the asset.
Traceable output
A published report stays linked to the readings it was built from.
Vendors, locators and operators.
CP service vendors
Companies running survey and maintenance programs for multiple operators.
Line locating companies
Locate work that needs a retrievable record after the job closes.
Pipeline & facility operators
Owners receiving survey data from vendors.
